Jubilee Films is the creation of Brooklyn-based documentary filmmakers Rachel Lears and Robin Blotnick. Our mission is to tell smart, nuanced, entertaining stories that transcend borders, engage audiences from all walks of life, and challenge popular assumptions. Our projects have received support from major film funders like the Sundance Institute and IDA, and won awards at festivals around the world. Our last release, Knock Down The House, followed four women who ran insurgent congressional campaigns in 2018, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Cori Bush. The film premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Festival Favorite award and was acquired by Netflix.
